Fishing – Fastest Way to Unlock T8
Fishing is one of the best income options that doesn’t require excessive level grinding. A T6 fishing rod is enough to catch the game’s most expensive fish, ensuring a steady income for premium and PvE/PvP gear. If you add food or potion production, your earnings increase even more. This guide focuses on fast fishing skill progression.
Fishing in Albion Online is one of the most relaxing activities that also provides income. You can safely fish in yellow and blue zones, earning small amounts while multitasking. The most profitable and safest fishing happens on Avalonian Roads, as long as you find T7 or T8 maps. You can enter the roads from anywhere in the Open World or frequently access them from Brecilien.
Quickly Unlocking High Fishing Levels
The key is to have Learning Points to quickly unlock higher levels, saving you time and silver. After that, you can either focus on one method or combine them. Eating fish grants experience for both the Fishing base skill and its specialization. It’s important to calculate the fame gained from eating specific fish in relation to their price. Avoid eating fish that are used for food production, except for T3 variants. T8 fish should be sold.
Buying Fish for Consumption
If you’ve been playing for some time and have saved silver, the best option is to set Buy Orders on the market to buy fish cheaply and eat them when you have free time. Always check prices in different cities.
Fishing and Eating Fish
This method is useful if you’re fishing in a dangerous zone, so you don’t lose profit and still gain experience. It will also help increase your fishing speed as you catch more fish. Just be cautious not to cancel ongoing bonuses from Pâté or Seaweed Salad.
Fame and Learning Points Needed to Unlock Fishing to Level 100
To unlock Fishing from level 0 to 100 requires 4,015,146 fame or 802,987 fame and 716 Learning Points.
Leveling Fishing Specialization from 0 to 100 requires 8,024,452 fame or 1,604,852 fame and 1,428 Learning Points.
If you have a large number of Learning Points, the required fame for fishing or eating fish is 1,604,852. Experience for both the base skill and specialization is gained equally when catching or eating a single fish. You’ll need 2,144 Learning Points in total. The cost for leveling up both base and specialization to level 100 will range between 40-60 million silver. Therefore, it’s best to start with a T6 rod and head to T7 maps to maximize your profits.
How to Best Buy and Set Buy Orders for Fish to Unlock Target Level
Look for fish that provide the most fame relative to their price. We won’t specify which are the best fish, as prices vary. Be sure to check them yourself.
Remove all equipment from your character, check fish prices in each available city, and then either buy or set up buy orders. Upon receiving the fish from market you can eat them immediately.
Premium Account is highly recommended since it applies to both fishing and eating fish bonuses.
