Brecilien – The City in the Mists of Avalon
General Information About the City of Brecilien
Brecilien consists of three blue zone maps, considered a single city located within the mist.
The city is surrounded by three red zones and one yellow zone, which can only be accessed from Brecilien and from each other. These zones are connected to the mist and contain similar resources and enemies. They encircle the city and do not lead further, except for the omnipresent Mist Portals. To enter the city, a character must have the appropriate reputation.
Is it worth focusing your gameplay in the City in the Mist?
Brecilien is the only city that allows quick access to the Mists and Avalonian Roads. For players who enjoy fast PvE and PvP runs solo or in small groups (up to 7), it’s perfect for establishing a base. Some market items may be more expensive than on the Royal Continent due to the difficult return journey, but there are also plenty of profit opportunities. Unlocking access to Brecilien also offers an additional escape option when traveling on the Avalonian Roads.
Accessing and Unlocking Brecilien
To reach Brecilien for the first time, you must first achieve the Accepted rank, which requires 50,000 Favor Points, earned through exploration in the Mists of Avalon.
Once you have the required points, you will be able to find a portal to Brecilien on certain Mist and Avalonian Roads maps. This area can usually be located by looking at the map in the Mists or Avalonian Roads for a white portal. The Brecilien portal will appear roughly at the bottom of the white portal marked on the map within a mushroom-shaped circle. Entering its center will teleport you to the city.
To return to Brecilien using fast travel, a player must have visited the city at least once and must pay a fee for each item in their inventory and equipment. The city itself does not appear on the world map. To set Brecilien as a destination, the player must use the dropdown menu for cities and islands in the fast travel interface.

Tips for First-Time Visitors
If unsure about leaving safely, ask an experienced friend to escort you to the Royal Continent exit.
If visiting Brecilien for the first time with valuable loot, store it in the bank before exploring the Mists.
