Tank Ganking PvP Set for Catching Targets
We use a tank for ganking when our team has more than 5 players. The reason for this is the low amount of damage dealt but a high amount of Crowd Control abilities – slows, immobilizations (rooting), silences, and stuns. Our main task is to catch and hold targets for our DPS players. A big advantage is the low cost of this PvP equipment.

Regular Mace is the best for ganking thanks to its two ability, which allows you to jump to a target. When catching players, immediately after using the Immobilizing Charge ability, we use the main ability, Deep Leap, to hold the target in place as long as possible for our DPS players. If we have developed the mace specialization branch, we choose the third ability on the Q key.
Leering Cane when fully specialized in the Torch branch, can extend crowd control by over 50%, and additionally provides a small cooldown reduction bonus.
Judicator Helmet is used for briefly holding the caught target. It cannot catch a player who is still mounted, so this ability is used last. Electric Discharge has a fairly large area of effect but a very short stun duration.
Guardian Armor is used when the caught player has equipment that grants invisibility. The Weakening Aura detects invisible units and also slows them by 15%.
Hunter Shoes are equipment for any set whose abilities are based on crowd control. They increase movement speed by 120% and extend the duration of stuns, immobilizations, slows, or silences by 35% for 3 seconds.
Bridewatch Cape activates after using a basic attack, slowing enemies around our character,
Pork Omelette increases our cooldown recovery speed by 13%.
Greater Sticky Potion creates a tar puddle with a radius of 3 meters, which lasts for 6 seconds and slows all enemies standing on it by 63%.
Alternative items for a tank in ganking
The Omelette can be replaced with Reality Sturgeon or Hardscale Pike – both fish increase crowd control duration by 10%, or Avalonian Sandwich, which increases crowd control duration and our maximum health.
An alternative potion is the Poison Potion, which allows for faster dismounting of the caught target.
